Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, central Mississippi, and north
central Mississippi.

TIMING...Today

Today, extra caution is advised with open burning due to a
combination of continued critically dry conditions and low
humidity. Please heed any local burn bans.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is an elevated concern for wildfires where open burning is
discouraged due to lower humidity values and continued critically
dry conditions for central to southern Mississippi, while limited
concern for wildfires where extra caution is advised with open
burning elsewhere across extreme southeast Arkansas, northeast
Louisiana and portions of western, northern and eastern
Mississippi Friday. Please heed any local burn bans.

The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations is not expected through next Wednesday.
