This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.

River flooding is occurring along portions of the Alabama and
Tallapoosa river basins. Please monitor the river flood warnings for
the latest information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

River flooding is expected to continue as late as Thursday for
portions of the Alabama River and as late as Friday for portions of
the Tallapoosa River. Please monitor the river flood warnings for
the latest information.

Severe thunderstorms are possible for a portion of central Alabama,
roughly northwest of a line from Selma to Alexander City, Friday
evening into early Saturday morning. Threats include tornadoes,
damaging winds, and quarter size hail.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
Friday evening into Saturday morning.
