This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Areas of showers and thunderstorms will continue to stream
eastward across the Quad State overnight. Southeast Missouri,
southern Illinois and the Purchase Area of west Kentucky will see
the greatest coverage. Locally heavy downpours and sporadic
lightning will be the primary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast daily, particularly during
the heat of the afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall,
lightning, and isolated wind gusts are the primary storm hazards
expected.

Peak heat indices in the 100 to 110 degree range are expected each
afternoon thru at least the middle of the week.
