This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast
Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, central Mississippi, northwest
Mississippi, south central Mississippi, and west central
Mississippi.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Wednesday

FIRE WEATHER
THREAT...Elevated
TIMING...Wednesday

Open burning is discouraged through tomorrow, due to a
combination of dry conditions, breezy winds, and low humidity.
Please heed any local burn bans.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday night through Monday

The concern for Elevated wildfire danger will return to the
forecast area Saturday and Sunday after a cold front brings very
low humidity and breezy conditions to the region. Open burning is
discouraged, and care should be taken to avoid sparks and flames
near dried vegetation.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations is not expected through next Monday.
