Little Indian, IL Weather Warnings

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated storm coverage is forecast through tonight.

There is a Marginal Risk of severe storms south of a line from
Havana to Danville through tonight. Damaging winds will be the
primary hazard, with lightning and moderate to heavy rain also
threats. Large hail could occur, but is less likely than damaging
wind/heavy rain.

Heat index readings will top out between 105 and 110 degrees in
portions of southeast Illinois this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...there is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms in
central Illinois. There is also a Marginal Risk of severe storms
south of I-70 on Friday. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy
rainfall.

Scattered thunderstorms should be anticipated south of I-72 on
Saturday. It is too early to determine severe weather risk this
weekend.

Hot weather will continue Thursday, with afternoon heat indices from
100 to 105 degrees for the southern portions of central Illinois.
