FLOOD WARNING Issue Date: 526 AM EDT Sat Mar 25 2023  
...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING TO SUNDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Miami River at Spring Valley.

* WHEN...From early this morning to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, High water impacts low areas near Spring
Valley, Roxanna, Corwin and east of Waynesville.  Flood waters
approach homes very close to the river, and widespread bottom land
flooding occurs.  Water floods Corwin Road, Waynesville Road and
Middletown Road near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 10.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this morning
and crest near 13 feet later this morning. It will remain
near 13 feet before falling below flood stage Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM EDT SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...In Southwest Ohio, Butler, Hamilton and Warren Counties.

* WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 235 AM EDT, Radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the last 6
hours. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are
possible.
- The area has already received 1 to 2 inches of rainfall over
the past 24 hours.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Cincinnati, Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, Covington,
Mason, Oxford, Lebanon, Norwood, Forest Park, Springboro,
Fort Thomas, Newport, Sharonville, Monroe, Blue Ash,
Loveland, Trenton, Franklin and Springdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
