This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected today,
mainly north of the I-20 corridor this morning before expanding south
later this afternoon and evening. Although occasional lightning and
gusty winds may accompany some of this activity, severe weather is
not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through this weekend and into
early next week, especially by late Sunday through Monday as a cold
front arrives across the region. Some of this rainfall may be heavy
at times, especially across the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast
Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas in addition to the
threat of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds
possible. This threat should decrease farther to the south and east
with a slightly less favorable environment for severe thunderstorms
across Deep East Texas and much of North Louisiana. Cooler and drier
conditions are expected to return by the middle of next week.
