TIMING...Through the remainder of this afternoon

Through the remainder of this afternoon, extra caution is advised
with open burning due to a combination of dry conditions and low
humidity. Please heed any local burn bans.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Tuesday

There is a limited fire danger threat due to increased wind,
lower humidity, or recent dry conditions for portions of north
central Mississippi, northeast Louisiana, and southeast Arkansas
on Saturday.

There is an elevated Fire Danger threat where open burning is
discouraged due to increased wind, lower humidity values, and
recent dry conditions for central and southern Mississippi, and
eastern Louisiana on Saturday.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations is not expected through next Tuesday.
