This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

DISCUSSION...
A weak upper level disturbance will pass through the region
overnight creating a low chance for showers. Otherwise surface
high pressure will gradually build into the area. No hazardous
weather is expected through tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...No Hazards.
FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A broad area of high pressure will maintain a summer-like pattern
across the southern half of the country through midweek. Moisture
from a low pressure centered along the Texas coast will gradually
spread northward during this time. The combination of afternoon
heating and the increase in low level moisture will bring
scattered showers and thunderstorms back into the forecast by
Friday. A weak frontal boundary will sink south into the area
from Kansas over the weekend and aid in keeping daily
thunderstorm chances going. Locally heavy rainfall may eventually
become a concern due to weak steering winds and seasonably high
moisture values.
