Norwood, TX Weather Warnings

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There will be an enhanced fire danger this afternoon across much of
Northern and Central Louisiana, given the abnormally low afternoon
humidity, and southeast winds around 10 mph. This threat will
diminish by this evening. In addition, isolated to widely scattered
showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible late tonight across
portions of East Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and adjacent sections of
Southwest Arkansas. However, no hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

An enhanced fire danger will continue Wednesday across Northcentral
Louisiana, as abnormally low afternoon humidity will persist.
However, showers and a few thunderstorms will begin to increase
across portions of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and adjacent
Southwest Arkansas Wednesday, before slowly spreading east into more
of Southern Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana Wednesday night, and
across the remainder of the region Thursday. While the threat for
strong to severe thunderstorms will be low, locally heavy rainfall
will be possible, mainly over East Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and
adjacent sections of Southwest Arkansas. Minor flooding of low lying,
poor drainage areas will be possible over Southeast Oklahoma and
adjacent sections of Southwest Arkansas, where grounds remain quite
wet from excessive rain that fell just over a week ago. Cooler and
drier conditions will eventually spill south into the region Friday
into next weekend.
