...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM MDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 degrees in the
Bear River Valley and between 26 and 32 degrees in the Wasatch
Back.

* WHERE...Wasatch Back and Bear River Valley.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some of the coldest temperatures in the Wasatch
Back are forecast in the cities of Silver Creek, Atkinson and
Wanship with low temperatures around 26 degrees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
