northwest Arkansas tonight.

TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Widespread rain and thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday
evening through Thursday afternoon over eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas as a cold front moves through the region.
Periods of heavy rainfall remain forecast with widespread rainfall
totals between 1 and 3 inches, and localized rainfall totals
approaching 5 inches by the time rain chances exit Thursday
evening. These amounts could create localized flooding concerns.
The threat for a few strong to severe storms will remain mostly
limited through Thursday. Cooler and drier weather will move into
the region Friday into the weekend.
