DISCUSSION...
Mostly clear to scattered cloud cover along with southerly winds
are expected across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this
afternoon. Hazardous weather is not anticipated through tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
FRIDAY...No Hazards.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A low pressure center off the Texas Coast will move north
spreading tropical moisture across eastern Texas and southeast
Oklahoma by late Friday. As a result, storm chances will spread
north across the area over the Fourth of July weekend, however
overall coverage looks to remain low at this time. A few stronger
storms could develop over far southeast Oklahoma during the day
Sunday with locally heavy rainfall possible. As temperatures and
humidity increase so will the heat stress. Dangerously hot and
humid conditions are likely to return by early next week.
