River flooding is occurring along the Tallapoosa River near Milstead. Please monitor the river flood warning for the latest information. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. River flooding is expected to continue into early Friday along the Tallapoosa River near Milstead. Please monitor the river flood warning for the latest information. Severe thunderstorms are possible for a portion of central Alabama, roughly northwest of a line from Selma to Alexander City, Friday evening into early Saturday morning. Threats include tornadoes, damaging winds, and quarter size hail. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed Friday evening into Saturday morning.
