This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Alabama, northeast Alabama, northwest Alabama and southern middle Tennessee. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening across the area. Locally heavy rainfall is possible from some thunderstorm activity, which may lead to a few instances of flash flooding during the period. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Periods of showers and thunderstorms will continue across the Tennessee Valley on Monday, with continued chances for locally heavy rainfall. Scattered thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday afternoon, but activity will increase on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of an unusually strong late season low pressure system. Conditions will become favorable for organized, strong thunderstorm activity from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
