This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham. .DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight. No hazardous weather is expected overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across Central Alabama Thursday morning and afternoon. Threats include damaging wind gusts, hail, and perhaps a tornado. Locally heavy rainfall could also occur on Thursday. This would lead to flooding of low lying or poor drainage areas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed again on Thursday.
