This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north Alabama and portions of
southern middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...
A Wind Advisory has been posted for most of the Tennessee Valley for
the late morning, continuing into the afternoon. South to southwest
winds will increase into the 15 to 25 mph range, with gusts to 35
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and
tonight. Some of the storms in the late afternoon and early evening
could become severe in intensity, especially near and west of the
Interstate 65 corridor. Strong wind gusts over 60 mph are the main
threat. Hail and tornado formation cannot be totally ruled out.
Strong to marginally severe wind gusts are possible from the stronger
storms east of Interstate 65 late this afternoon and this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management personnel is
possible this afternoon and evening.
