DISCUSSION...
Mainly light to moderate showers are expected across the area
overnight tonight. A few thunderstorms could move into far
southeast Oklahoma with some heavy downpours and gusty winds
possible within the strongest cores, but the severe threat will be
very low and remain south of the region throughout the remainder
of the period as instability has diminished considerably over
eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The potential for showers and thunderstorms will continue
on Wednesday as an upper level low moves across the region.
These thunderstorms are expected to remain below severe levels
and the potential for heavy rain will diminish on Wednesday.
Gusty southerly winds are expected over the holiday weekend
with temperatures warming back up to be above normal for
this time of year.
