DISCUSSION...
A few isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible across far
southeast Oklahoma this morning. Additional scattered thunderstorms are
expected to spread into portions of eastern Oklahoma late tonight.
A few of these storms could be strong with small hail and brief
heavy rainfall.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Multiple rounds of thunderstorms, with the potential for heavy
rainfall, are expected both Monday and Tuesday as a series of
upper level disturbances traverse the region. Flooding could
become a significant concern, especially in areas where storms
move over the same areas. The heavy rainfall threat is expected to
end some time on Wednesday as the main upper system shifts east
of the region.
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLANNING STATEMENT...
Continue to monitor the latest forecast through the early part of
the work week. A flash flood watch may be needed in some areas
for flash flooding and main-stem river flooding. Specific rainfall
amounts will continue to be refined over the next few days.
