This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
While confidence is low, isolated to scattered thunderstorms may
affect western and northern Arkansas this morning. Heavy rain,
gusty winds, and hail will be possible in stronger storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday Through Wednesday
Showers and thunderstorms will become widespread Saturday into
Sunday, followed by much cooler air and below average temperatures
through Monday. Another round of storms is expected Tuesday into
While spotty severe weather is possible this weekend and early next
week, the main concern will be areas of heavy rain. The forecast
calls for two to four inch amounts across much of the region through
Wednesday, and there could be locally more. Flash flooding may occur
in places, and tributaries such as the Black, Cache, Ouachita, and
lower White Rivers will likely remain elevated.
