This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight South to southwesterly winds up to 30 mph sustained with gusts to 40 mph will be likely across higher terrain in the Ozarks and Ouachitas as well as much of the Delta region of eastern and northeastern Arkansas. Winds will subside near sunset tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday Through Thursday Showers and thunderstorms will become widespread Saturday into Sunday, followed by cooler air and below average temperatures through Monday. Another round of storms is expected Tuesday into Thursday. While spotty severe weather is possible this weekend and early next week, the main concern will be areas of heavy rain. The forecast calls for two to more than four inch amounts across much of the region through Thursday.
