This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east central...south central and southeast Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Gusty south to southwest winds and low relative humidity values are once again expected today, with critical fire weather conditions anticipated across much of south central and southeast Colorado from late this morning through this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Gusty southwest to west winds with low relative humidity will produce critical fire weather conditions over portions of the I-25 corridor during the afternoon and early evening on Sunday. Snow will begin to move over the Continental Divide beginning late Monday evening and continue to spread eastward on Tuesday, with some of the snow showers making it over the I-25 corridor and Palmer Divide. Light to moderate accumulations are expected, with the heaviest snowfall amounts in the eastern San Juan Mountains, with as much as six inches of new snow through Wednesday. Critical fire weather concerns will still be an issue for much of the plains during the afternoon on Monday and Tuesday, but then begin to improve each day thereafter through the rest of the week. There will be snow possible over portions of the higher terrain and adjacent plains from Thursday through Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
