This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for all Atlantic
beaches. There is also a high surf advisory for the Palm Beaches.
Thunderstorms: A few thunderstorms will be possible today, mainly
over the interior and Gulf Coast this afternoon into the evening
Waves: Breezy NE winds today along with seas of 7 to 9 feet will be
possible for the Atlantic waters, particularly in the Gulf Stream.
A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the Atlantic and
Biscayne Bay waters.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
Elevated seas and swell from Hurricane Humberto will continue to
create hazardous marine conditions for the Atlantic waters along with
a high risk of rip currents and rough surf along the Atlantic
beaches through this week.
Thunderstorm chances across South Florida will increase late this
week into the weekend.
