This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Isolated storms with lightning and gusty winds are expected this afternoon and evening. Severe weather is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Chances for thunderstorms continue off and on through Saturday. A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out Wednesday afternoon and night with hail up to quarter size, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and localized pockets of up to 2 inches of rain. Aside from Wednesday afternoon and evening, severe weather is looking unlikely. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
