This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT An isolated thunderstorm will be possible this afternoon through tonight, mainly for areas along and east of the Mississippi River. Lightning will be the main threat with any storm. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY A fairly active pattern continues Friday through the weekend, with occasional chances of thunderstorms. The most likely chances of storms will be Saturday night into Sunday, with some strong to severe storms possible during that time over eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri. Chances of showers and storms are around 40 to 70 percent Saturday night. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Moving toward the northwest around 20 mph.
