...Areas of Fog Early this Morning... Areas of fog, and in some spots dense, has developed across parts of eastern Iowa into the Mississippi River Valley. This fog will reduce visibility to one quarter mile or less in places, making it hazardous for motorists. The fog will continue through daybreak and gradually ease between 8 and 9 A.M. Early morning travelers are encouraged to use caution and allow extra travel time as well as keep a safe following distance behind the vehicle in front of you, including along I-80 and I-380, and U.S. Highways 20 and 30.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT Isolated thunderstorms are possible today, and then along and east of the Mississippi River tonight. Locally heavy rainfall sharply reducing visibility may occur. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY Periods of scattered thunderstorms are becoming more probable Monday afternoon through at least Tuesday night, with higher coverage expected north of I-80. Periods of brief heavy rainfall may occur. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Moving to the northeast at 30 mph.
