This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa. .DAY ONE...Tonight Isolated thunderstorms are expected into tonight. The main concern will be from localized heavy rainfall which may lead to ponding of water in low lying and poor drainage areas, especially in urban areas. The severe risk remains quite low, but an isolated stronger storm could produce gusty winds and small hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday There will be continued chances for scattered thunderstorms through Sunday with peak chances during the afternoon and evening hours. The overall severe risk is low but slow moving storms may result in localized ponding, especially in urban areas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated but rainfall reports are always appreciated.
