This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT Numerous slow-moving showers and thunderstorms are expected over the area with some being capable of heavy rainfall and localized flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY Patchy dense fog is possible early Wednesday morning. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible Wednesday, mainly east of the Mississippi River. The main risk will be lightning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed tonight. However, we would appreciate any rainfall reports over one inch and reports of flooding. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Variable storm motions around 10 mph.
