This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Very isolated thunderstorms may be possible late Tuesday afternoon into early Tuesday evening. While widespread severe storms are not expected, a few storms could produce hail up to the size of quarters, and 50 mph winds. Scattered thunderstorms will develop late tonight and continue into Wednesday morning. A few strong to severe storms could be possible with the greatest risks from hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter and 50 mph winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday There will be continued chances for primarily late afternoon and evening thunderstorms into next weekend. At this time, severe weather is unlikely with these storms. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is possible after 4pm for isolated storms, with the greatest potential for scattered thunderstorms after sunset.
