This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east central Illinois and west central Illinois. .DAY ONE...Tonight. A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight across central Illinois. A few thunderstorms could be strong or severe late this evening and overnight, with large hail the primary hazard along with cloud to ground lightning. Minor flooding is occurring along portions of the Illinois River from Havana to Beardstown. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Thursday. A few storms could be strong to severe into mid Thursday morning with large hail the primary hazard. Isolated thunderstorms are expected Friday night, mainly east of I-55. Locally heavy rain is possible Thursday night into Friday night south of I-72, and could result in areal flooding and rises on area streams, rivers, and creeks. Minor flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois River from Havana to Beardstown into next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
