NORTHEASTERN KANE COUNTY...
At 334 PM CDT, a shower capable of producing a tornado was located
over Gilberts, or near Elgin, moving north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Carpentersville, Algonquin, South Elgin, Gilberts, West
Dundee, Barrington Hills, Sleepy Hollow and East Dundee.
This includes... Elgin Community College.
Including the following interstate...
I-90 between mile markers 50 and 56.
