...LAKE WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS
* WHAT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
* WHERE...All of southwest Indiana, the Ozark Foothills region
of southeast Missouri, and portions of southern Illinois along
and north of Highway 13.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will
create hazardous conditions for small craft.
Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

from the National Weather Service for additional details.
A Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms exists along and south of a
line from Marble Hill and Cape Girardeau Missouri, southeast to
Metropolis Illinois, Grand Rivers, Cadiz, and Fort Campbell
Kentucky. A Marginal Risk of Severe Thunderstorms covers the
remainder of the outlook area.
Damaging winds and frequent lightning will be the primary hazards
with the line of thunderstorms today, but isolated pockets of
larger hail will be also be possible as well. Locally heavy rain
may lead to isolated flash flooding across parts of west Kentucky
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
