This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight There is a marginal risk that thunderstorms today will reach severe levels, with damaging winds and hail the main severe hazards. The best chance for strong storms will be during the afternoon and evening. In addition, storms will produce heavy rains that may repeat over the same areas, so they have localized flooding potential as well. Lightning will also be a commonplace storm hazard. South winds will develop today, and become breezy and gusty at 15 to 25 mph. This will pose a potential boating and small craft hazard for area lakes. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Thunderstorm chances linger Thursday and Friday. They are highest Thursday, and will have a locally heavy rain and lightning hazard. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
