This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois and west central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...
Thunderstorms are possible tonight. The risk for severe storms is
low, although lightning hazards will exist. Heavy rainfall is
expected tonight, mainly late this evening and overnight, with
around 1.5 inches of rain expected by 7 am Sunday.
East to northeast winds will increase to 20 to 25 mph, with gusts
of 30 to 35 mph during overnight, and continue Sunday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...
Thunderstorms with moderate to locally heavy rain will be
possible into Sunday morning, with rain diminishing during midday
Sunday. Rainfall totals of 1.75 to 2 inches are forecast by 1 pm
Sunday, although higher amounts are possible.
