This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
The entire region is covered by either a Wind Advisory or a Lake
Wind Advisory today. Please refer to the Advisories for details.
A few thunderstorms could reach southeast Missouri and southwest
Illinois late tonight. The storms should be well below severe
limits.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
A few thunderstorms could reach southeast Missouri and southwest
Illinois before dying early Saturday morning. The storms should
be well below severe limits.
A cold front will bring an area of thunderstorms through the
region as it passes late Saturday through Sunday morning. A few
strong to severe storms with large hail and damaging winds cannot
be ruled out mainly in the late afternoon and evening. Otherwise,
locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the primary
concerns.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday through Thursday.
Locally heavy rain and lightning are the primary hazards.
