This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Thunderstorms are forecast to develop and move in from the
northwest late tonight. There is a marginal risk of severe storms,
mainly in portions of southwest Illinois and and southeast
Missouri. Gusty winds and hail are the primary hazards.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
A chance of thunderstorms is forecast Wednesday through Thursday,
then again Friday afternoon through Saturday night. Some storms
could be strong Wednesday as well as Friday night and Saturday,
with gusty winds and marginal hail. Locally heavy rainfall and
lightning will also be storm hazards.
Winds will become breezy 15 to 25 mph out of the south with higher
gusts at times on Friday, offering a hazard for area lakes and
boaters.
