This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. .DAY ONE...Tonight High water levels will continue in the Rainy River Basin over far northern Minnesota, as well as around the Island Lake Reservoir and areas downstream of the Cloquet River, especially around Side Lake and Hunter Lake. Minor flooding will continue along the Mississippi River between Aitkin and Fort Ripley in Crow Wing County and near Scanlon along the St. Louis River where Flood Warnings are in effect. A Flood Warning has also been issued for the Island Lake Reservoir and areas downstream of the Cloquet River. Rivers and creeks along the North Shore are expected to remain high and fast-flowing. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Water levels will remain high across many of the Northland`s rivers, creeks, and streams, especially in the Rainy River Basin, Island Lake Reservoir, Cloquet River, the Mississippi Basin, and along the North Shore. There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening, with potential for strong to severe storms in and around northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Reports of flooding from spotters and the public are requested.
