This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
High water levels will continue in the Rainy River Basin over far
northern Minnesota. Minor flooding will continue along the
Mississippi River between Aitkin and Fort Ripley in Crow Wing
County and near Scanlon along the St. Louis River where Flood
Warnings are in effect. Rivers and creeks along the North Shore
are expected to remain high and fast-flowing and a Flood Warning
remains in effect.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Water levels will remain high across many of the Northland`s
rivers, creeks, and streams, especially in the Rainy River Basin,
the Mississippi Basin, and along the North Shore.
There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and
evening. There is a potential for strong to severe storms in and
around northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.
