This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Areas of frost are possible this morning over parts of northern
Minnesota. A Frost Advisory remains in effect through 9 AM this
morning.
High water levels continue in the Rainy River Basin over far
northern Minnesota, as well as around the Island Lake Reservoir
and areas downstream on the Cloquet River, especially around Side
Lake and Hunter Lake. A Flood Warning remains in effect for the
for the Rainy River Basin as well as the Island Lake Reservoir and
areas downstream on the Cloquet River. Minor flooding will
continue along the Mississippi River between Aitkin and Fort
Ripley in Crow Wing County where Flood Warnings are in effect.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Water levels will remain high across many of the Northland`s
rivers, creeks, and streams, especially in the Rainy River Basin,
Island Lake Reservoir, Cloquet River, and the Mississippi Basin.
Overnight and morning temperatures near or below freezing will be
possible through Monday morning, particularly along the
International Border, and additional frost headlines will likely
be needed again Saturday night and Sunday night.
