This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
An isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon along and
north of the US 8 corridor.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Chances for thunderstorms exist late Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday night and again on Sunday night and Monday. Severe
weather is possible with any thunderstorm complexes that develop.
The first heat wave of the summer will build late this week and
peak this weekend. Highs in the 90s and lows in the 70s are
likely, especially Saturday and Sunday. Heat indices may exceed
100 this weekend. Those who are active outdoors will be at risk
for heat related illness Friday through Sunday.
