This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Isolated to scattered thunderstorms remain possible today. The main storm related concern is locally heavy rainfall and lightning. River flood warnings and statements should be referenced for updated river flooding details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday The potential for thunderstorms returns Wednesday and Wednesday night. Severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes will be potential severe storm hazards. Locally heavy rain will also lead to the potential for localized flash flooding, especially in areas that receive repeat storm activity. Storm chances decrease on Thursday before picking up again Friday into the weekend. The better such chances should hold off until the latter half of the weekend, with the primary storm related hazards including heavy rain and lightning.
