.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Multiple rounds of storms are possible starting Friday morning with
strong to severe storms during rush hour and into the late morning.
Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threat during this
period. Another chance for severe storms will occur late Saturday
afternoon into the evening with all severe hazards possible. Heat
indices will also likely reach into the upper 90s Friday and
Saturday afternoon which will be the first time this year we`ve
seen temperatures get this high. Saturday night will be the start
of an active weather pattern through the weekend where the severe
threat starts to transition to a flood concern. By Monday night
there could be 2 to 4 inches of rainfall over the region with some
areas seeing localized amounts higher than that. This will likely
aggravate river flooding and may cause some flash flooding issues.
