This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited hail risk.
Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Limited lightning risk.
DISCUSSION...
A few showers and storms developing across far southern Missouri
is still possible through the mid evening hours, generally before
10 PM. A strong to severe thunderstorm or two may be possible
near the Missouri Arkansas boarder this evening. Large hail up to
the size of quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph will be possible
in the more intense storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Monday.
Additional severe weather will be possible during the day
Thursday. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be possible as
a cluster of thunderstorms approaches from the west and moves
through the region.
Unsettled weather will continue into Friday and Saturday due to a
slow moving frontal system that will be positioned across the
Ozarks.
