This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Isolated to locally scattered thunderstorms are forecast today and tonight. A few storms may approach severe limits today, mainly east of the Mississippi River. The best chance for any severe storms are expected over parts of southwest Indiana and the west Kentucky Pennyrile this afternoon. Locally damaging winds, possibly a microburst or two, and marginal hail can be expected with the stronger storms today. Brief heavy rain and occasional lightning can be expected with most thunderstorms today and into evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Isolated to locally scattered thunderstorms are forecast Friday. Isolated heavy downpours and occasional lightning are the primary concerns. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated.
