This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited lightning risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
DISCUSSION...
While a diminishing trend of the showers and thunderstorms
should occur as the storms in central Kansas push into southeast
Kansas and western Missouri, a few isolated showers and storms
will remain possible into mid morning.
Gusty winds can be expected today, with some gusts over 30 mph
over western Missouri and southeast Kansas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Gusty south winds will be possible this holiday weekend,
primarily on Sunday and Monday. Wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph will
be possible from southeast Kansas into parts of far southwest
Missouri. Some gusts over 30 mph will also be possible on
Tuesday.
Thunderstorms will again be possible by late Tuesday into
Thursday of next week.
