In southwest Missouri, Dallas, Laclede, Webster and Wright. * WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 803 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk. Significant lightning risk. Elevated excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Showers and thunderstorms will continue today. There is a risk for severe thunderstorms over portions of southern Missouri, with the greatest risk over the eastern Ozarks. At this time, it appears as though large hail and damaging wind gusts would be the greatest risk from these severe storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Additional widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected starting Monday and Monday night through Wednesday or Thursday.
