SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
THREAT...Marginal
TIMING...The rest of this afternoon through tonight
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through
the rest of this afternoon into this evening, especially across
southern and eastern portions of Mississippi. Some thunderstorms
could produce damaging wind gusts and hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Saturday
Severe thunderstorms will be possible across the forecast area
Wednesday into Wednesday night, especially across northeast
Louisiana and southwestern portions of Mississippi. Damaging wind
gusts and hail will be possible with these storms, and tornadoes
cannot be ruled out.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations may be needed for portions of the region remainder
of the afternoon through tonight and Wednesday through
Wednesday night.
