An area of low pressure off the southeast coast will promote areas of widespread rain, which may be heavy at times tonight. While flooding of low-lying or poor drainage areas may occur, widespread flooding is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. The risk of excessive rainfall will continue Sunday as the offshore low pressure system moves into central NC. Additional rain could lead to localized poor drainage flooding. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
