.DAY ONE...Tonight and Wednesday
Numerous thunderstorms are expected mainly along and south of
Interstate 80. Locally heavy rain from 1 to 2 inches is possible in
a few locations.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday night through Tuesday
A few thunderstorms could linger Wednesday morning for southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Additional thunderstorms could occur
Thursday night and early Friday.
Hot weather is expected this upcoming weekend. High temperatures
in the mid to upper 90s are forecast with afternoon heat indices
potentially reaching 98 to 103 Friday, and 102 to 108 on Saturday.

Spotter activation could be needed for southwest Iowa and extreme
southeast Nebraska late this afternoon and overnight.
