Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Excessive Heat Watch. Heat combined with increasing moisture could lead to heat indices in the mid 90s by Friday. Heat indices will peak between 105 and 110 degrees Saturday, with heat indices around 100 degrees Sunday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING... The National Weather Service in Gray has issued an Excessive Heat Watch, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * Heat Index Values...Up to 109 due to temperatures reaching the upper 90s and dewpoints in the lower 70s. * Timing...Temperatures will warm quickly by late in the morning and will begin to drop below dangerous levels after 7 pm. * Impacts...Excessive heat and humidity can be extremely dangerous to the elderly, the young, those working outside, and people with existing heart conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... An Excessive Heat Watch means that a prolonged period of hot temperatures is expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids...stay in an air-conditioned room...stay out of the sun...and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. This is especially true during warm or hot weather when car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. &&
